1) Use The Zoom In And Zoom Out Feature

If your Firefox font size is too small, you can zoom in and increase the font size.

We often use the zoom feature to get a clear view of the text.

You can do the same thing with your Firefox font size. Here is how to do so:

  • Open Firefox and open a web page that you want to read.
  • Click on the three horizontal lines or the hamburger menu shown in the picture.
  • From the application menu, go to Zoom option.

  • Click on the plus sign (+) to increase the font size of your text. You can zoom in to a maximum of 500 percent.

  • Similarly, you can zoom out using the minus sign (-).

You can also Zoom in and zoom out using your keyboard and mouse.

You will just have to press and hold the Ctrl key and scroll your mouse wheel up. This will Zoom in.

To zoom out, just scroll the mouse wheel down.

When you want to return to the default font size press Ctrl + 0 and that’s it!

2) Tweak Firefox Settings To Change The Font Size

You can change the Firefox default font size and adjust it as per your requirement.

  • Open Firefox and click on the Hamburger icon. Select Settings.

  • Here you will find the default font type as Times New Roman and the default font size as 16.
  • Click on the dropdown menu of the font size and adjust as per your choice. You have options to choose between a minimum size of 9 to a maximum size of 72.

You can click on the Advanced default option to change the font to any other preferred language and set the minimum font size from the drop-down menu.

Web pages set their font type and font size by default. If you want to change that, uncheck the Allow pages to choose their own fonts option. Save the changes by clicking on the OK button.

3) Change Firefox Font Size On Your Android Smartphone

If the Firefox font is too small on your Android phone, then follow the steps given below to change the font size:

  • Open Firefox Browser and tap on the three vertical dots from the right bottom corner of your screen.
  • Open Settings from the given menu and scroll down to find Accessibility.

  • By default, the font size is set to 100 percent but you can drag the slider to the right side to increase the font size.

  • You can adjust the font size until you get a satisfactory size.
