Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22000.176 Update

Windows 11 Insider Preview build 22000.176 was just released by Microsoft to the Beta Channel and it heavily focuses on bug patches. This update also brings in slight changes and improvements to the system from the previous build 22000.168. Let’s take a look at what this update brings to the table.

What Are The Changes?

This update brings a slight customizability to the Taskbar. The default icons pinned on the Taskbar, like Search, Task View, Widgets and Chat can now be removed/hidden through the Taskbar settings. Here is how you can do it:

Right-click on the Taskbar and select the Taskbar Settings option. In the Taskbar items section, disable the toggle for the items you want to remove.


Also, an update (version 22108.1401.11.0) to the Microsoft Store was rolled out to the Windows Insiders in the Beta Channel that introduces a complete overhaul of the Library UI that promises simpler navigation and better performance to boot.


The Spotlight design of Microsoft Store for promoted products also got an update that provides a sneak peak of the product by hovering over the option.
